My yoga journey started over 28 years ago, I decided after an illness and operations that it was time to improve my health and well-being and not being a lover of gyms or extreme exercise I decided to try yoga.
I wasn't the most co-ordinated of people, and a bit shy and reserved, so a class that I could just slip into was great. I could work at my own level and soon realised that my flexibility had improved, my strength both physical and mental had also improved, without even trying, just by attending a weekly class.
I started to incorporate different things I had learnt from my yoga class into my daily life.In times of stress or anxiety I incorporated some of the breathing techniques that I had learnt and noticed that they worked in real life as well as in class.
Friends commented on how well I looked, and how calm I was these days, "What is the secret?" my answer was simple YOGA.
I love it and it changed my life, and lifestyle in a gentle and subtle way. My confidence and inner strength improved, my physical well-being improved, including my flexibility, strength and endurance.
Now I teach Yoga to share my love and experiences, and hopefully help you become your
"Energy of one. "
